SMS Communications

PTI QCS may provide transactional and operational SMS communications through its CRIS ERP platform to individuals who voluntarily provide their mobile telephone number and affirmatively consent to receive such messages.

SMS communications may include:

  • Password reset codes

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes

  • Work order assignments

  • Schedule changes

  • System alerts

  • Other transactional or operational notifications associated with authorized use of CRIS ERP or PTI QCS services

These SMS communications are intended for transactional and operational purposes and are not used for third-party marketing or promotional purposes.

How SMS Consent Is Obtained

SMS consent may be obtained through an offline, in-person onboarding process.

During physical onboarding, an individual may provide a mobile telephone number on a paper onboarding or authorization form. The individual is presented with a separate SMS consent disclosure and an unchecked checkbox or other affirmative consent mechanism.

The individual must affirmatively indicate consent to receive SMS messages. Merely providing a mobile telephone number does not, by itself, constitute SMS marketing consent.

PTI QCS maintains records of SMS consent as appropriate to document the individual’s authorization and to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and carrier requirements.

SMS Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the individual’s authorized use of CRIS ERP, work-related activities, account activity, and the operational notifications applicable to the individual.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier and wireless service plan.

SMS Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to an SMS message.

After an opt-out request is processed, you may receive a final confirmation message. You will no longer receive applicable SMS messages unless you subsequently opt back in.

SMS Help

For assistance with SMS communications, reply HELP to an SMS message or contact PTI QCS using the contact information provided at the end of this Privacy Notice.

Voluntary Consent

Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of employment, purchase, or use of PTI QCS services.

SMS Data Protection

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information may be provided to vendors acting on behalf of PTI QCS when necessary to provide SMS delivery, telecommunications, hosting, security, or other services supporting the messaging program.

Those service providers receive information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are not authorized by PTI QCS to use SMS opt-in information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Retention of Personal Data

PTI QCS retains Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice and as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and protect legitimate business interests.

Usage Data generally may be retained for a shorter period unless longer retention is necessary for security, functionality, legal compliance, or another legitimate purpose.

Records relating to SMS consent and opt-out requests may be retained as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws, carrier requirements, industry standards, and our messaging obligations.
